The 1053 by Specmar is designed by Stephen Pollard, who designed a wide range of aluminum boats from 4 to 14 meters in length in recent years. In recent years these boats were built in hundreds of different models and implementation.

The 1053 is a specially designed catamaran with a glass bottom which makes the boat suitable for boat tours and research work. This model can be customized on special request and customer’s specifications.

The 1053 is provided with a self-draining deck and the propulsion based on two outboard motors.

The kit has been modified by Bruce Roberts Europe BV to comply with the European codes and rules, as well as production standards. The Bruce Roberts Europe pre-cut building kit consists of extremely accurate cut parts from first class marine grade aluminum, including precision markings, the pre-forming of all parts and all profiles needed to complete the construction. A comprehensive set of assembly drawings and step by step instructions for a fast and easy assembly are also included.
